Tare Rock festival returns

- in addition to classic Lappish rock bands, young energy on the program

Tare Rock festival will continue on May 16–17, 2025, legendary Lappish rock and hip-hop will be offered at Monitoritalo Monde. Local heroes, legendary northern rock bands, also hiphop pioneers of the North. Tickets are limited - last year's festival sold out in advance.

Young rising rock bands and also a documentary about Lappish hip-hop will be filmed on Friday, May 16

A new feature at Tare Rock 2 is young energy on Friday. Among the guests on the benches will be the ancestor of rollofunk hiphop Hannibal with his new Lecters band. The party manager hiphop star Talonpoika Lalli, who will throw a special gig with the Arctic Boomers band. The evening will be hosted by Ville Saarenketo, aka Vilhelm Valloittaja, who is familiar from TV. The rocking band will be Baabelin Nulikat and Anyverse, who have gained international attention.

Saturday night full of classic Northern Rock bands

Saturday night, on the other hand, has a solid lineup of classic northern rock bands. The legendary band from Rovaniemi: Arcticus, continuing their 50th anniversary celebration. Southern boogie masters from the southern Lapland: The Drillz. Ivalo's Miracles of rhythm and blues the Malpractice. Stylish rhythm and blues trio from Rovaniemi Raudaskoski Twins and modern rock/pop band Jacques Daniels Project, who are releasing their new album. The evening's host is a local rock icon Pepe Petranen.

Fri 16.5.2025: Hannibal & Lecters, Talonpoika Lalli & Arctic Boomers, Baabelin Nulikat and Anyverse (Sodankylä). The host is Ville Saarenketo alias Vilhelm Valloittaja.

Sat 17.5.2025: Arcticus, The Drillz (Meri-Lappi), Malpractice (Ivalo), Raudaskoski Twins and Jacques Daniels Project. The host is Pepe Petranen.
